Global Recycled Standard
Molo holds certification from Global Recycle Standard (GRS)*.GRS is a voluntary international product standard for recycled materials. The comprehensive standard mandates third-party certification throughout the supply chain, ensuring that products with recycled content meet stringent environmental, chemical, and social responsibility criteria.
*Certified by Ecocert Greenlife, license number 197496.
The GRS certification ensures:
+ Materials verified to meet the ISO* definition of 'recycled'. Both pre-consumer* and post-consumer* materials are accepted.
+ Potentially harmful chemicals aren’t allowed to be used in products.
+ All relevant legal requirements for air emissions, with corresponding record-keeping, are required to be met.
+ The certified entity is required to set and meet targets for meaningful improvements in air emissions and review this progress annually.
+ The identity of the recycled content is maintained from collected raw material to the final product.
+ A higher proportion of recycled content in products
The GRS mandates certification at each production stage, from recycling to the final product. Material collection and concentration sites undergo self-declaration, document collection, and on-site visits.

* ISO (International Organization for Standardization) is an independent, non-governmental international organization with global standards for trusted goods and services.
* Pre-consumer material is diverted from the waste stream during the manufacturing process.
* Post-consumer material is generated by households or by commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities in their role as end-users of the product that can no longer be used for its intended purpose.
